JEC Powered By Jaguar Championship - Cadwell Park 10th July 2005:

Unbroken sunshine promised high temperatures and a dry track on this tight picturesque Lincolnshire circuit, and what followed was fabulous close and exciting racing as groups of cars raced nose to tail right through to the chequered flag. The Jaguars provided great entertainment in each race for the fortunate spectators.

This was a combined race with sports versus saloons and it was the very fast XJS contingent that made a strong showing with Steve Davis leading the way home for the Jaguars. Second place was secured by Cliff Ryan in the Classic Spares XJS and third place Richard Masters' XJS only just managing to retain position ahead of Robert Lines' D Type, less than half a second ahead at the finish.
